Breast lift surgery is chosen when breasts are sagging or drooping, due to age, gravity, or childbirth. The procedure is performed to bring the breasts back to a more youthful position.  Sometimes breast implants are used in conjunction with a lift to restore breast volume as well. Breast reduction is performed for women with exceptionally large, heavy breasts.  Excess weight of the breasts can cause back pain, neck pain, and other bothersome conditions like skin rashes or irritation from the bra strap pressing into the skin.  In a traditional breast reduction, excess tissue is removed through an incision around the areola that extends down toward the breast crease. Read more about breast reduction in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
